The agreement
These terms apply when you use the N4S – Riders Community app or n4s.live (together, "N4S"). By creating an account you agree to them, to our Privacy Policy and to our Community rules. If you don't agree, don't use N4S.
Who can use N4S
- You must be 18 or older.
- One person, one account. Don't create accounts for someone else or pretend to be someone you're not.
- You must not use N4S if we have banned you before, or if the law where you live forbids it.
Your account
Keep your password to yourself and tell us at support@n4s.live if you think someone else got into your account. You are responsible for what happens in your account. Information you give us, especially for verification, must be true and your own.
Driving and meeting safely
Never use N4S while driving. Set up Navigate and anything else before you set off. Obey traffic law at all times.
- N4S helps people find each other. We don't screen every member, and a Verified badge only means we checked an ID and a car document. It is not a guarantee of anyone's behaviour.
- Meet in public places, tell someone where you're going, and leave if anything feels wrong.
- Locations on the map are approximate on purpose and can be out of date. Don't rely on them for safety or emergencies; call 112 in an emergency.
- Be careful alerts, meetups, routes and place information come from members and open map data. They can be wrong.
Track mode and timed runs
Timed runs (such as 0–100 km/h or a quarter mile) are allowed only on a road that is closed to traffic for an organised event. Each time you start, you confirm that the road is closed and that you follow the organiser's and police rules. You alone are responsible for how and where you drive. Times measured by a phone are estimates. N4S has no public times, no speed leaderboard and no races between members. Using Track mode on an open road breaks these terms and the law, and we will close your account.
Your content
You keep ownership of the photos, texts and other content you post. So that we can run N4S, you give us a worldwide, free, non-exclusive licence to store, copy, resize, show and share that content inside N4S and on share pages you create, for as long as it is on N4S. You promise you have the right to post it and that it doesn't break anyone's rights or these terms.
When you delete content or your account, the licence ends, apart from copies that others already received in chats and backups that are overwritten over time.
What you must not do
Follow the Community rules. In particular, don't:
- street race, organise races on public roads, or encourage dangerous driving;
- follow, track, stalk or locate someone who hasn't agreed to it, or post someone's plate, home or location;
- harass, threaten, scam, spam or ask members for money;
- post sexual content, violence, hate, or anything illegal;
- sell cars or other goods, or advertise, without our permission;
- copy, scrape, reverse engineer or overload N4S, or try to see data you aren't allowed to see;
- get around a block, a ban, a limit or a safety feature.
Verification
Verification is optional and free. You may verify only with your own driving licence and the car passport of a ride registered to you. We may refuse, or later remove, a verification at our discretion, for example if a document looks altered or belongs to someone else.
N4S Pass
- The Pass is a subscription sold through Google Play or the App Store. Prices, the billing period and any trial are shown before you buy.
- It renews automatically until you cancel it in your Google Play or App Store account settings, at least 24 hours before the period ends. Refunds are handled by Google or Apple under their rules.
- The Pass needs a verified account. It gives privacy and showcase extras. It never buys votes, a higher rank, more connect requests or access to anyone's location.
- Listing a ride in Top Rides needs an active Pass. When the Pass ends, the ride leaves the board; its votes stay for when it returns. You can switch the listed ride once every 30 days.
- Deleting your account does not cancel the Pass. Cancel it in the store first.
- If we close your account for breaking these terms, you don't get a refund for the remaining period, unless the law says otherwise.
Moderation, suspension and closing accounts
We review reports and may remove content, limit features, suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the Community rules, or that put others at risk. Where it's safe and allowed we will tell you why. If you think we got it wrong, write to support@n4s.live.
You can stop using N4S and delete your account at any time.
Changes to N4S
N4S is a young service. We may add, change or remove features, and the service may sometimes be unavailable. If we ever shut N4S down, we will give you notice in the app.
Responsibility
We provide N4S "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for what members do on or off N4S, for meetings between members, for driving decisions, for content posted by others, or for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under consumer law that can't be limited, or our responsibility for harm we cause deliberately or through gross negligence.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of Georgia. Please contact us first so we can try to solve a problem together. Otherwise, disputes go to the courts of Georgia, unless the consumer law of your country gives you the right to go to your local courts.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we tell you in the app before it applies. If you keep using N4S after that, the new terms apply.
